Revolut buys SME hospitality ePOS software provider Nobly POS
Revolut is to acquire ePOS software provider Nobly POS to expand services to the hospitality SME sector and accelerate the growth of its business and acquiring offering. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2013, Nobly offers an ePOS system for the restaurant and hospitality industry that enables businesses to manage their operations with its back office app, inventory management systems, kitchen displays, and online ordering (click and collect) app.
Nobly currently serves merchants across the UK, US and Australia.
Nobly’s product is being integrated with Revolut’s payment hardware and online and offline payment processing capabilities. This will allow Revolut to offer an integrated solution to empower merchants to manage their businesses and accept payments easily.
The acquisition will also enable Revolut Business hospitality customers to open a digital account, use FX, issue cards, manage and sell their products, and accept payments online and offline from the Revolut Business environment.
Revolut intends to launch this integrated solution across its international footprint and expand product capabilities to serve its wider retail customers.
Nik Storonsky, CEO of Revolut, says the deal will “further advance our mission to offer a one-stop shop solution to enable merchants of every kind to manage their finances and run their businesses from a single platform”.
George Urdea, co-founder and CEO at Nobly POS, adds: “We built Nobly to enable small business owners and their teams to better serve their customers.”
