AMP appoints new CTO, Felicia Trewin
Australian wealth manager AMP has appointed Felicia Trewin as its new chief technology officer (CTO). She will start her tenure in March 2022 and also join the group’s executive committee.
Trewin will be responsible for leading the group’s technology strategy and accelerating the adoption of digital and data technology across the wealth and banking business.
She has more than 25 years of experience in technology, and joins AMP from AustralianSuper, where she has served as group executive, technology services since 2018.
Prior to this role, she worked at ANZ Bank in technology leadership roles, including establishing the bank’s Emerging Technology Labs. She has also worked at Microsoft, Deloitte and Accenture, working across Australia, the US and UK.
Alexis George, CEO of AMP, says Trewin “will bring energy and a fresh perspective” to the company.
AMP is a long-standing player in the wealth management space, having been founded back in 1849. It’s also now growing its retail banking and international investment management businesses.
