Collateral analytics platform Cassini secures $20.5m financing round
Collateral analytics provider Cassini Systems has completed a $20.5 million financing round.
The fundraise, led by Ten Coves Capital, was joined by existing investor Mosiak Partners.
UK-based Cassini says the cash will go towards product development, support plans for entering new markets across the globe, expand the company’s sales force and broaden the capabilities of its analytics platform.
Cassini founder and CEO Liam Huxley says: “This financing is a crucial next step as we continue to scale our operations and add to our global client base, which includes many of the world’s largest banks and asset management firms.”
As part of the investment, Ten Coves’ managing partner Steve Piaker is joining the Cassini board of directors.
Piaker says Cassini operates at the intersection of three powerful trends: integrated data and analytics, liquidity and trading cost optimisation in the capital markets and regulatory compliance.
Cassini’s platform enables asset managers to assess and optimise the liquidity and carry the cost of their trading strategies across the trade lifecycle from pre-trade, to intra-day to post-trade, the vendor says.
