Diebold Nixdorf tapped by Cambodian retail bank ACLEDA for self-service solutions
Cambodian retail bank ACLEDA Bank has selected banking solutions provider Diebold Nixdorf as it looks to provide customers with new self-service capabilities at each of its branches.
Diebold Nixdorf will deploy its DN Series ATMs, software and professional services across ACLEDA’s 262 branches, the largest branch network in Cambodia.
The new terminals will allow customers to utilise cheque depositing, foreign currency exchange and cardless withdrawal and deposit features.
ACLEDA claims to be the first financial institution in Cambodia to offer such advanced self-service always-on ATM functionality.
The bank plans to add additional terminals that will provide account opening, card issuance, statement printing and interactive video teller capabilities with the goal of having at least one such terminal in each of its branches.
ACLEDA Bank’s senior vice president and head of marketing Sophea Sok says Diebold’s solution will provide the bank’s customers a “modern ATM banking experience by offering multiple functionalities in a single terminal”.
Jaivinder Singh Gill, Diebold Nixdorf vice president of banking Eurasia APAC, says its software solutions will enable the bank to roll out new features “quickly and easily” and “provide a more secure banking experience to customers”.
