Wyth Financial hires new VP of customer experience, Mark Nicholson
Mark Nicholson has joined Canadian digital bank Wyth Financial as vice president, customer experience. Nicholson moves from rival domestic bank Tangerine, where he spent nine years in various senior roles, most recently as VP of digital and innovation.
Prior to that, Nicholson was with ING Direct Canada – Tangerine’s predecessor – for seven years. ING Direct Canada was acquired by Scotiabank in 2012, and rebranded as Tangerine in early 2014.
“To say that I’m excited would be a HUGE understatement,” Nicholson writes on LinkedIn about his new role with Wyth.
“Wyth is ‘The Bank That Does’ and from the moment I met the team; the culture, strong purpose, clear vision and great talent were all evident and I knew it was a team I wanted to join (and thankfully they’ve let me!),” he says.
Wyth is a trade name of Concentra Bank. It offers consumer and business banking services via online and mobile. “Wyth is for you. That’s why our name is spelled with a ‘y’”, the bank explains.
