Revenue-based financing platform Silvr lands €130m Series A
European revenue-based financing platform Silvr has raised €130 million in a Series A funding round.
The round saw participation from XAnge, Otium, Bpifrance, Eurazeo, and ISAI as well as angel investors including Qonto co-founders Alexandre Prot and Steve Anavi and Alma co-founder Louis Chatriot.
Silvr intends to use the cash to expand its footprint in France and internationally. The firm also plans to create a debt fund and form strategic partnerships with the banking sector in 2022.
Silvr says it has already started building close relationships with a wide range of partners and will be broadening its scope in 2022 to “bring together all the players that contribute to the growth of digital companies”.
The company is also hiring 100 people across its sales, marketing, product and tech teams to support its growth.
The “founder-friendly” financing solution provides entrepreneurs access to funding in their early-stage growth period.
Silvr says its platform can assess a business’ performance in real-time and offer financing within 24 hours.
Founded in 2020, the company claims to have provided support to more than 100 entrepreneurs in less than a year.
