Aussie fintech Parpera launches to help people grow their businesses
Parpera, an all-in-one solution aiming to help sole traders manage their business finances, has launched in Australia.
Designed to help small business owners set up, manage and grow their businesses in the modern digital economy, Parpera provides a digital bank account, business debit card, invoicing, payments, cash flow and tax management capabilities, all in one app.
The Volt bank account which powers the business account is protected up to $250,000 per account holder by the Financial Claims Scheme.
Sole traders can use a Mastercard-powered business debit card, which allows for fee-free international card payments.
Parpera also provides every user with a unique BSB and account number for their business to get paid and to pay others with.
Business owners can utilise in-app invoicing, allowing them to create, send and manage professionally designed and customisable invoices.
The platform also offers auto-reconcile invoices, which automatically match incoming payments with outstanding invoices.
Parpera will also categorise transactions and capture receipts and tax invoices so that business owners can better understand and track their income and expenses.
Parpera says it wants to “empower people to improve the economic prosperity of people, communities and societies, globally, through making it easier to do business”.
Founded in April 2020 by Daniel Cannizzaro, Parpera has already raised AUD 2.7 million in equity funding and has a global team working across Sydney, Melbourne and London.
