Brazilian fintech Dock lands $110m growth funding at $1.5bn valuation
Brazilian fintech Dock has raised $110 million in growth funding at a valuation of more than $1.5 billion.
The round was led by Lightrock and Silver Lake Waterman and saw participation from existing investors Riverwood Capital, Viking Global Investors and Sunley House Capital.
Dock says the new capital will turbocharge its product development and international expansion plans, as well as support its broader mission of democratising access to financial services for consumers and businesses in Latin America.
The end-to-end payments and digital banking platform enables fintechs, retailers, banks and tech companies to offer a range of financial services including custom cards, payments processing and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), tapping into a market worth $18.5 billion across Latin America.
Dock’s API-driven and cloud-native platform has more than 300 clients and 65 million active end users throughout the region, processing more than five billion transactions annually.
In October, Dock acquired e-payments provider BPP to bolster its payments and digital banking offering in the region.
