Technisys integrates Cyberbank platform with Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services
Core banking software provider Technisys has partnered with Microsoft, integrating Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services with its Cyberbank platform to offer financial institutions the ability to scale and boost their digital transformation efforts.
The integration will allow FIs of all sizes to personalise a “cohesive” banking experience, adopt digital innovations, lower operational costs and develop new revenue streams utilising the cloud.
Technisys CEO Mike Santos says the partnership with Microsoft “strengthens our commitment to redefining the banking experience for consumers and business owners”.
Santos adds: “Combined with Microsoft Azure’s cloud computing platform, we will enable FIs to embrace a digital transformation more quickly and cost effectively – without disrupting day-to-day business.”
Technisys says many banks are managing legacy systems siloed across disparate departments, limiting their ability to deliver customer experiences across different channels.
Microsoft’s corporate vice president of worldwide financial services, Bill Borden, adds the partnership will allow firms “to innovate faster and focus more on delivering value to their customers, versus maintaining their legacy systems”.
In February, Technisys was acquired by SoFi Technologies. Last year it also made an acquisition of its own – chatbot developer Kona.
