India’s Jarvis Invest hires Rajesh Batreja as CSO
Indian AI-based investment advisory platform Jarvis Invest has appointed cybersecurity veteran Rajesh Batreja as chief strategy officer (CSO).
Batreja brings more than 15 years’ worth of experience to the role, having previously worked at ClearTrail Technologies, a communication data analytics firm, and as a managing director at Credence Security, a firm that distributes cyber and information technology security solutions.
With Batreja as CSO, the company intends to expand throughout India and into the US and Middle East markets as well as create a new product for the B2B fund management industry.
Jarvis Invest founder and CEO Sumit Chanda says the company has witnessed an increase in registered clients “from 493 in 2020 to over 75,000 as of April 2022”, and hopes Batreja will help the company continue its growth “as he will be leading the expansion and operational strategy at Jarvis”.
Speaking on his appointment, Batreja says he sees “immense potential in the AI space in India”, adding the vision at Jarvis is to “become an emotionless fund manager for the common man”.
