Mollie appoints former Worldpay exec Michaela Weber as VP of partnerships
Dutch fintech Mollie has hired ex-Worldpay exec Michaela Weber as its new vice president of partnerships.
Weber will be responsible for developing and maintaining “strong relationships” with local and global partners, Mollie says, as the firm looks to boost its partner network.
The company provides small and medium-sized e-commerce firms with access to Software-as-a-Service solutions that help them keep pace with their larger competitors.
Mollie chief operating officer (COO) Ken Serdons says Weber is a “seasoned expert” in the fintech and payments space and will work to “develop our relationships further and maintain our strong partner network”.
Prior to Mollie, Weber was senior VP for enterprise partners at Worldpay, where she managed partner relationships across the world. Before Worldpay, Weber worked at management consulting firm Bain, focusing on fintech and payments.
She has also worked as an equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs and held client relationship roles at JP Morgan and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
