Belgium’s Puilaetco taps Abbove for digital wealth planning platform
Puilaetco, the Belgian subsidiary of private banking group Quintet, has partnered with wealthtech Abbove to provide digital wealth planning services to its private banking clients.
Abbove says its technology helps financial institutions offer “holistic” wealth management services and has ambitions to make its platform available internationally. The Puilaetco partnership is the second such private banking partnership Abbove has secured in the past three months.
Abbove, itself based in Belgium, says the deal “marks another step” in expanding its wealth planning platform, with the possibility of expanding into six countries including the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and the United Kingdom if the Belgium pilot proves a success.
The digital platform will be available through Puilaetco under the name Richer Life Plan. Puilaetco’s clients will be able to access a global overview of their family’s entire assets as well as view detailed simulations on the evolution of their wealth and the organisation of their inheritance.
Abbove CEO and co-founder Guillaume Desclée says: “Our ambition to make our platform available internationally found a match with Quintet who have the will to spread the solution across their network in Europe after this first deployment in Belgium.”
