Revolut India appoints Arjun Mehta as new CFO
Revolut has appointed Arjun Mehta as the new chief financial officer (CFO) for its India operations.
Mehta has almost two decades worth of experience in the finance industry and has previously worked with companies such as Apple, American Express and Max Life Insurance.
In his new role, he will lead channel development, expense management and revenue planning for the company, reporting directly to Revolut India CEO Paroma Chatterjee.
Commenting on his appointment, Mehta says he “looks forward” to introducing Revolut’s products and services to Indian consumers. “India presents a huge long-term opportunity and an established fintech ecosystem,” he adds.
Revolut India is an India incorporated and registered entity of global super-app Revolut. The company is the first UK fintech to set up a base in the subcontinent.
“Revolut aims at helping Indian consumers manage their money better and in an efficient manner,” Chatterjee says.
In July, the company appointed Saleem Arshad as its chief technology officer (CTO).
Globally, Revolut claims to have more than 20 million customers making more than 250 million transactions every month.
