FinWise Bank taps Finastra for core banking solution
Utah-based community bank FinWise Bank has selected Finastra’s Fusion Phoenix for its new core banking solution.
FinWise Bank says it selected Finastra’s solution to propel its banking business and build on its fintech partnership lending programme to support new accounts on a national level and deliver superior customer service both locally and nationally.
Finastra says its Fusion Phoenix solution offers the bank “needed flexibility, increases efficiencies, and fully integrates customer data”, enabling more personalised campaigns and customer interactions.
“FinWise is a unique bank doing innovative things in the fintech space,” says Dawn Cannon, EVP and chief operating dfficer at FinWise Bank.
“We needed to find a core provider that could match our needs for flexibility and growth, as well as one that has the experience and stability we could put our trust in.”
Founded in 2000, FinWise Bank is a Utah, US state-chartered bank and a wholly-owned subsidiary of FinWise Bancorp.
It leverages strategic relationships with third-party loan origination platforms, proprietary loan analytics technology, and its management team to deliver lending solutions to small businesses and individuals.
FinWise currently operates one full-service banking location in Sandy, Utah.
