Decentralised paytech Clowd9 taps Netcetera as payment security provider
Clowd9, a cloud-native, decentralised payments processing platform, has selected payments software firm Netcetera as its payment security provider for its transaction authentication needs.
Clowd9 will use Netcetera’s 3D secure issuer service for transaction authentication and Access Control Server (ACS), currently used by more than 200 banks and card issuers worldwide.
The 3D secure server solution is designed for “frictionless and reliable” payment processing and reduces the risk of non-authenticated transactions, associated refunds and lost revenue, with Clowd9 able to offer the solution to its clients across the world.
Netcetera UK senior business executive Robert Miskin says Clowd9’s adoption of the firm’s 3-D Secure and Access Control Server (ACS) services will help to drive the adoption of 3DS and “significantly improve” the overall security of its online transactions.
Founded by Suresh Vaghjiani, Cosmo Spens, Artur Grabowski, Robert Hampel and Peter Selman, and launched in the UK in October, Clowd9 intends to “transform” the technology that underpins the global payments system through on-demand, real-time and cloud-native payment processing.
Clowd9 CEO and co-founder Suresh Vaghjiani says Netcetera is a “future-oriented solutions provider that is able to meet our unique requirements as a cloud-native payments processor”.
