Ex-Nordea exec Erik Zingmark joins Loomis Pay as CEO
Swedish payments solution provider Loomis Pay has appointed Erik Zingmark as its new CEO.
Zingmark brings more than 25 years of banking experience to his new role. He joins Loomis Pay from Nordea, where he worked for over eight years in various roles, most recently serving as head of transaction banking and EVP.
In that role, he headed customer solutions within payments, liquidity management, consumer and corporate cards, trade finance, supply chain finance, e-commerce, mobile wallets and open banking.
He has also previously worked at Danske Bank as global head of cash management, and spent over nine years at SEB serving in various capacities. His resume also includes stints at ABN Amro and Skanska.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Stockholm, with operations in Denmark and Sweden, Loomis Pay offers end-to-end payments solutions for merchants, restaurants and shops, allowing them to handle cash, card and mobile payments through a single provider. It claims to serve more than 500 merchants as of January 2021.
Loomis Pay is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Loomis AB, a Swedish cash flow solutions provider with a presence in over 20 countries, with 400 branches and 23,000 employees.
