Business spend management firm Medius names Henrik Rosén as CTO
Business spend management fintech Medius has named Henrik Rosén as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Rosén will be tasked with further developing Medius’ existing product suite as well as delivering new products. He will also lead both the research and development (R&D) and customer support divisions, as well as manage the cloud and security operations at the firm.
Based in Linkoping, Sweden, Rosén will be responsible for a 200-strong global team, including the R&D headquarters based in Krakow, Poland, which was founded in 2009.
Rosén has been with Medius for more than 12 years, seeing the company grow “from a local Swedish software company to a global SaaS business”. Prior to becoming CTO, he was senior vice president of R&D at the firm.
Prior to joining Medius, he was part of the R&D leadership team at enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendor IFS.
Rosén says in his new role he will work to “accelerate the innovation” at the firm and invest in new technologies which hold “ample opportunity” to bring value to customers in the current economic climate.
Medius uses AI to automate the capture, processing and payment of business invoices. It currently has more than 2,600 customers across 102 countries and claims to process $180 billion in annual spend.
