Dragonfly makes C-level hires as firm expands partnerships and portfolio
Dragonfly Financial Technologies has made three C-level appointments – chief legal officer (CLO), chief information security officer (CISO) and chief administration and risk officer (CARO) – as the firm expands its partnerships and product portfolio.
Derly Gutierrez joins as CISO, bringing nearly 25 years’ worth of experience in risk management, governance and compliance to the role.
Gutierrez, who will lead Dragonfly’s cybersecurity department, was previously the CISO at 1010data and was director of information security at Bank of New York Mellon. He is also a founding board member of the Cloud Security Alliance.
As CARO, Carolina Reddy will oversee Dragonfly’s administration department. Prior to joining Dragonfly, she was head of business risk and cybercrime, group card and emerging payments at Standard Bank Group.
La Dell Diaz brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate law and as CLO will oversee Dragonfly’s legal department. Prior to joining Dragonfly, La Dell was senior vice president, legal, at ACI Worldwide.
Dragonfly CEO Johan Roets says that alongside the senior appointments, the firm has also expanded its development and product teams, with “new products and services that improve the overall digital banking experience for corporate and small business clients” in the pipeline.
Dragonfly recently launched a a fintech integration platform, which provides banks with secure connections to fintech applications including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Oracle NetSuite, Xero and Quicken.
The company also expanded its fintech ecosystem, announcing strategic partnerships with open finance platforms Ninth Wave and Prolific Banking.
