Target Group names Katherine Bowen as new CFO
UK-based business processing and software provider Target Group has promoted Katherine Bowen to the role of chief financial officer (CFO).
Bowen joined Target Group nearly five years ago as a finance business partner, and has since progressed through the ranks to CFO, where she is now leading the finance, pricing and internal audit teams.
In her new role, Bowen is responsible for the firm’s financial management, leading the teams responsible for day-to-day operations, streamlining decision-making within the firm as it looks to hit its “ambitious” growth targets. She will also sit on the firm’s executive committee.
John Barker, CEO of Target Group, says: “This new role will help move our business along while also ensuring the required financial oversight.”
The news follows Target Group’s recent appointment of compliance veteran Kathy Griffin as its new chief risk officer in October.
Target Group is part of Indian tech conglomerate Tech Mahindra. It says its fintech platform manages assets worth more than £25 billion. Serving more than 30 major financial institutions and banks, its software enables clients to automate complex critical processing, servicing and administration of loans, as well as investments and insurance.
It also provides expert advice on process improvement, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
