TrueNorth appoints Doug Woolridge as new chief growth officer
US fintech firm TrueNorth has appointed Doug Woolridge as chief growth officer, a newly created role at the company.
Woolridge joins TrueNorth from EPAM Systems, where he served as VP of financial services and head of financial services Canada.
He brings over 25 years of fintech, digital banking, payments, and partnerships experience to his new role. Prior to EPAM, he worked as SVP of professional services at Prodigy Labs and as chief architect at Cognizant.
At TrueNorth, Woolridge has been tasked with “driving growth, innovation, and success” for the company by increasing productivity and revenue.
TrueNorth CEO and co-founder Alex Gonikman says Woolridge has “a proven track record of growing some of the biggest names in financial services”.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in New York City, USA, TrueNorth is a software development company that provides architectural frameworks to help financial firms accelerate the build of customised solutions. The firm has built 45 original enterprises, including three fintech unicorns – Upgrade, LendingClub and Dianrong.
