Xero appoints former Google exec Diya Jolly as chief product officer
Business accounting platform Xero has appointed Diya Jolly as its new chief product officer (CPO), effective 10 April. Jolly will replace the current CPO Anna Curzon, who will be taking a sabbatical from the firm due to personal reasons.
With more than a decade worth of experience, Jolly joins Xero from Okta, where she served as CPO and was responsible for product innovation for both its workforce and customer identity business.
Prior to Okta, Jolly was VP of product management at Google, where she worked on driving adoption for Google Home and YouTube and Gmail monetisation. She has also previously served as senior product manager at Microsoft.
In her new role, Jolly has been tasked with leading Xero’s product teams and driving development, design and marketing to improve the company’s platform. She will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area in the US.
Xero CEO Sukhinder Singh Cassidy says Jolly’s “global experience” will help the firm unlock its next phase of growth.
