UK regtech Facctum appoints two senior executives
London-based regtech firm Facctum, which operates a cloud-based risk decisioning technology, has appointed Onkar Inamdar as head of engineering.
With over 15 years of work experience in consulting and financial services sectors, Inamdar, based in India, joins Facctum from FlexMoney Technologies, where he was responsible for building buy now, pay later (BNPL) solutions for banks and customers.
Prior to that, he served as director of engineering for American Express and as solutions architect for Fiserv, and spent almost 11 years at ZS. At Facctum, Inamdar will be responsible for building a “robust, scalable, and secure” Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.
Additionally, Facctum has also appointed Syam Chintapenta as its new chief development officer. He will lead the development and implementation of products and work with clients to fit their compliance needs.
An “experienced” software professional with over 26 years of experience in the banking sector, Chintapenta brings knowledge of building and implementing AML, KYC, sanctions and collections products in the regulatory space along with “rich experience” in data warehousing for tier one banks. He is also based in India.
Chintapenta joins Facctum from Apisero, where he worked as chief delivery officer. His previous stints include senior roles at Barclays, Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in London, with operations in Indian cities of Pune and Bangalore, Facctum leverages its risk analytics technology to help companies improve their compliance effectiveness and streamline operations.
