KeyBank taps Qolo for virtual accounts and digital payments solutions
Ohio-based KeyBank has tapped omnichannel card issuing and payments processor Qolo to provide API-powered payments solutions and virtual accounts for KeyBank clients.
The bank’s clients will now have the ability to create virtual accounts and connect to underlying payment modalities including real-time payments, Automated Clearing House (ACH) and wire transfers.
KeyBank head of commercial product and innovation Jon Briggs says: “The integration of Qolo into KeyBank’s APIs is another proof point in our embedded banking strategy, allowing clients to streamline and scale their strategies by utilising our digital payment tools.”
Qolo CEO Patricia Monetesi adds that the partnership with KeyBank will bring the company’s card issuing, omnichannel payments and virtual accounts “to more fintechs and businesses looking to quickly launch and scale revenue-generating digital banking services”.
Last summer, KeyBank partnered with BlueSnap to provide payment gateway functionality for its US e-commerce clients. It also tapped fintech Quavo for its QFD automated dispute management platform to unify its fraud and dispute processes and automate manual tasks.
