Accuro selects Objectway to power new wealth management platform
Belgian wealth advisor Accuro has selected software provider Objectway to power a new wealth management platform for its private clients.
With Objectway, Accuro says it will be able to accelerate its “multi-custodian, real-time, straight-through-processing” of orders and offer clients a digital investment experience for their advisory and discretionary businesses that is fully compliant with regulations.
The new solution is built on the vendor’s Objectway Platform offering, hosted on the cloud. Objectway says its configurable tech will enable Accuro to customise its new platform to meet its current requirements with the option of adding more features over time, helping the firm to scale while increasing client satisfaction and retention.
“Accuro is one of the few boutique wealth managers in Belgium that offer both discretionary and multi-asset class advisory services to their clients,” says Kurt Vanhee, managing director, Continental Europe and North America at Objectway. “Especially the advisory model is heavily under pressure due to increased regulations to protect investors.”
Vanhee adds that Objectway’s tech has catered to the “specific needs and focus points indicated by Accuro to preserve their own identity”.
Accuro was launched in 2006 and employs a team of 13 wealth management experts, with a portfolio value of nearly €800 million.
Objectway’s platform helps digitalise private banking and wealth and asset management services. It claims to support more than 100,000 investment professionals managing more than €1 trillion in assets.
The firm operates from Italy, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, the UAE and Ireland and has over 200 banks, wealth managers, asset managers and insurers as clients.
