paysafecard Deal with Vindicia Strengthens U.S. Presence (April 25, 2013)
Online merchants using Vindicia’s CashBox SaaS platform are now able to accept paysafecard for digital goods and services, according to paysafecard, a European-based prepaid electronic payment solution provider, with offices in in Vienna, London and New York.
“Vindicia is the ideal partner . . . to help us strengthen our footprint in the U.S.,” said Michael Mueller, paysafecard group CEO. “One of our key targets in 2013 is to widen our activities in industries where we already have a presence; and we are confident that Vindicia will help us to achieve this goal in the U.S. market.”
Vindicia expanded its online payments solutions to include paysafecard to enable Vindicia’s global merchant clients to acquire new customers, according to the Belmont, Calif.-based provider of marketing and selling automation. paysafecard vouchers can be purchased with cash or credit at 450,000 brick-and-mortar retail outlets. “Customers don’t need a bank account and they don’t have to use their credit cards online if they don’t feel safe doing so,” said Gene Hoffman, Vindicia CEO and founder. “All that is required to make a payment is the unique 16-digit PIN that comes with each paysafecard.”
