People on the Move: Ari Horowitz and George Zirkel, TabbedOut
TabbedOut, an Austin, Texas-based provider of an app enabling consumers to open, review and pay their restaurant and bar tabs from their mobile phones, has hired Ari Horowitz as executive vice president, strategic partnerships and corporate development, and George Zirkel as chief revenue officer.
Horowitz, a media and technology entrepreneur, has more than 20 years of experience in building consumer brands, structuring partnerships and facilitating technology acquisitions. He previously served as CEO of BlackBook Media and Vibe Media. Zirkel, a 20-year veteran of the payments industry, was vice president of innovation, mobile and advanced solutions at First Data. Zirkel and Horowitz will report to TabbedOut CEO Alex Broeker.
