Reloadit Adds Digital Storage, Multi-Card Loads, Bill Pay (April 22, 2014)
Blackhawk Network is expanding the utility of its reload network beyond single card reloads. The Reloadit prepaid reload platform now enables users to digitally store Reloadit packs, add money to multiple cards at once and pay bills. Along with the new service, dubbed Reloadit Safe, Blackhawk has redesigned its Reloadit packs and Website.
“The Reloadit platform has been redesigned to offer much more than the simple loading of GPR cards,” said David Tate, senior vice president of products and marketing, Blackhawk. “Customers can use their cash to pay bills and load multiple prepaid cards with one Reloadit pack, creating additional convenience and decreasing the amount of fees they pay to use their money.” The redesigned platform also enables customers to schedule recurring reloads for GPR cards. Users can sign up for Reloadit Safe online by providing a verified email account.
Blackhawk steadily has expanded the Reloadit network since the platform’s debut in 2010, adding prepaid partners, including PayPal, NetSpend, PreCash and Univision. The network currently enables reloads of more than 200 prepaid cards, with Reloadit packs available at thousands of retail locations.
