One4all Opens Up to SMEs in Northern Ireland (April 23, 2014)
Gift Voucher Shop (GVS) is opening its One4all multistore gift card program to independent retailers in Northern Ireland. The Paybefore Award-winning program traditionally has offered gift cards for major chain and department store retailers, but One4all now is expanding compatibility to independent retailers, such as clothing shops and jewelers, expanding acceptance for consumers and enabling small retailers to benefit from a gift card program. By joining the One4all fold, those SMEs gain access to the platform’s extensive pool of customers and valuable post office distribution network, GVS said. One4all sells £43 million (US$72 million) in total gift card value annually in Northern Ireland, with an average card value of £26 (US$44).
“Retail has been tough in Northern Ireland over the past few years and it’s important that retailers are aware that there are other routes available to them to drive sales,” noted Paul McMahon, president of the Belfast Chamber of Commerce.
One4all gift cards are sold in post office locations across the U.K. and Ireland and can be redeemed at 17,000 retail partner locations. “One4all has a wide ranging appeal because of the breadth of choice we offer our customers in where they can spend their gift cards,” said Michael Dawson, One4all Group CEO. “Our current retail offer covers everything from home to fashion and travel to food. Independent Northern Ireland retailers are an important part of this choice.”
