People on the Move: Kelly Kay, YapStone
YapStone, a Walnut Creek, Calif.-based provider of Web and mobile payment solutions, has appointed Kelly Kay president and chief operating officer. Kay, who was previously general counsel and head of risk at YapStone, will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the company. She has more than 15 years of global payment and regulatory experience, holding senior roles at MasterCard, eBay and PayPal, among others. YapStone also announced that Kelly has been named one of the San Francisco Business Times’ “Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business.” Nominees for the award are evaluated on their influence in the industry as well as in their communities.
