People on the Move: David Sear, Skrill Group
Skrill Group, provider of online payment technologies to merchants and consumers, has appointed David Sear group chief commercial officer. In this newly created position, he will oversee all commercial operations across the Skrill Group, comprising Skrill, paysafecard and payolution. Sear previously was CEO at Weve, the joint venture between U.K. mobile network operators EE (formerly Everything Everywhere), Telefonica U.K. and Vodafone U.K. He also served in a range of senior management positions with Travelex, VocaLink and WorldPay, among others. He will join Skrill Group in August and will be based at the company’s global headquarters in London.
