People on the Move: Ram Chari, ElectraCard Services
MasterCard has appointed Ram Chari CEO of ElectraCard Services, which it acquired earlier this year. Based in Pune, India, Chari will lead the electronic payments solution provider in delivering processing services to enhance MasterCard’s offerings across Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA). He will be responsible for the integration and overall execution of the company’s business strategy, as well as establishing synergies to fuel processing innovation. Chari has more than 20 years of financial services and processing experience, most recently as senior business leader, alliances and processing, at MasterCard in the APMEA region.
