UniRush Using Enacomm Biometric Tech to Protect Cardholders (Nov. 4, 2014)
Biometrics have been getting a lot of attention as a means of payments authentication, but UniRush LLC wants to use the technology to bolster security and improve the customer self-service experience for its cardholders. The Cincinnati-based provider of the prepaid Visa RushCard will be implementing multifactor authentication technology that uses voice biometrics and enables mobile knowledge-based authentication (KBA) from Enacomm Inc. Enacomm’s eKBA includes caller verification methods that rely on basic information, and its voice biometrics technology will enable RushCard to protect cardholders by verifying customers based on their unique voice prints, according to an announcement. In addition to the new security measures, Enacomm recently implemented its self-assisted service solution for RushCard, which focuses on creating intelligent customer interactions with an IVR system.
