Visa QIWI Wallet Added to eBay Payment Methods in Russia (Nov. 4, 2014)
Beginning this week, Russian customers of eBay Inc. will be able to pay for their purchases with Visa QIWI Wallet, the result of a partnership between the online auction Website and QIWI plc, a provider of payment services in Russia. Merchants will continue to receive seamless transaction processing and receipt of funds because PayPal will support processing of Visa QIWI Wallet payments, according to the announcement. Russian eBay users can sign up for Visa QIWI Wallet at qiwi.com, and the wallet can be topped-up using cash in more than 100,000 QIWI kiosks, or by using credit or debit cards, mobile phone balance or e-money.
