People on the Move: Sarah Grotta, Mercator Advisory Group
Mercator Advisory Group has hired Sarah Grotta, a 20-year payments and banking industry veteran, as its head of the company’s debit advisory service. She will be covering debit issuing, bill pay, P2P solutions and ACH, among other products. Her experience includes senior leadership positions in a mix of large financial institutions and fast-paced startups, including KeyBank, SunTrust, Springbok Services and DimpleDough, in addition to managing her own consulting firm. Her responsibilities have included managing debit card and prepaid card lines of business, merchant services and ISO sponsorship portfolios, growing an ACH consolidation business and deploying a surcharge-free ATM solution.
