People on the Move: Tim Carter, Fortumo
Mobile payments company Fortumo has appointed Tim Carter chief revenue officer, based in the company’s London office. His responsibility will be leading the company’s global business development and strategic business lines. He previously established Google’s Android business development team in Europe, Middle East and Africa in 2009, launched payments for Google Play and managed mobile operator and device partnerships in the region. Carter worked on Google’s Android team since its first device launched in 2008, helping to grow the Android ecosystem from zero users to more than 1.5 billion.
