People on the Move: Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Square Board
Square Inc. has announced that business leader, philanthropist and basketball hall of famer Earvin “Magic” Johnson will join its board of directors this summer. Johnson currently is the chairman and CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE), which provides products and services that focus primarily on ethnically diverse and underserved urban communities through strategic alliances, investments, consulting and endorsements. He also is chairman and founder of the Magic Johnson Foundation, which develops programs and supports community-based organizations that address the educational, health and social needs of the same communities MJE serves.
