People on the Move: Brian M. Axell, Lindquist & Vennum
Brian M. Axell has joined the law firm Lindquist & Vennum LLP as partner in the financial institutions practice in the Minneapolis office. He counsels retailers, financial institutions, program managers and debt collection agencies on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues facing consumer financial service products, including prepaid cards, credit cards, debt collection and emerging payment products.
Prior to joining Lindquist & Vennum, Axell served as in-house counsel at Target Corporation, where he had primary responsibility for Target’s prepaid card product suite, REDcard loyalty programs and consumer debt collection.
