People on the Move: Paul E. Harner, Ballard Spahr
Ballard Spahr announced that Paul E. Harner, has joined the firm and will work in Ballard Spahr’s offices in New York and Baltimore. He represents clients in bankruptcy cases, out-of-court workouts and litigation. Harner has played a leading role in landmark national and international corporate restructurings, including Chapter 11 cases involving American Airlines, Six Flags Entertainment, Nextel International, National Century Financial Enterprises, Kmart Corp., USG Corp., R.H. Macy & Co. and Federated Department Stores. He previously was a partner at Latham & Watkins in New York.
