People on the Move: Keisha Whitehall Wolfe, K&L Gates
People on the Move: Keisha Whitehall Wolfe has joined the consumer financial services group as counsel from the office of the commissioner of financial regulation (OCFR) within Maryland’s department of labor, licensing and regulation. She will work predominantly on licensing and governmental approval issues as well as state and multistate examinations and enforcement actions. She also worked as acting deputy commissioner at the OCFR, topping nearly a decade in public service for the agency where she also served as the licensing director. She supervised the daily operations of the licensing staff and was instrumental in managing the transition of more than 6,500 licensed mortgage companies and individuals to the nationwide mortgage licensing system.
