People on the Move: Phil Olson, Financial Technology Partners
Financial Technology (FT) Partners has hired Phil Olson as a managing director in the company’s new Chicago office. Olson has more than 15 years of experience in the fintech investment banking sector, including serving for the past 13 years as managing director with William Blair & Co. Olson has been involved in more than 100 completed investment banking deals during his career.
In other FT Partners news, the firm has won a pair of awards from professional organization The M&A Advisor. FT was named Investment Bank of the Year and received the award for Cross Border M&A Deal of the Year for the sale of Currencies Direct to Corsair Capital and Palamon Capital Partners.
