Company on the Move: Blackhawk Network, ‘Silicon Valley 150’
Blackhawk Network was ranked 18 of 25 “non-tech” firms in the Bay Area by the Bay Area News Group in its 2016 “Silicon Valley 150” (SV150) list, a four-spot jump from Blackhawk’s ranking last year. The annual SV150 list compares public tech and non-tech companies headquartered in the Bay Area based on annual sales, profit, profit margins and more.
Credited with the “biggest upward move during 2015” on the non-tech 25 list, Blackhawk received a special mention thanks to a 25 percent jump in revenues compared with 2014. Blackhawk is featured alongside companies including Wells Fargo, Visa and Charles Schwab.
