People on the Move: Sachin Dhawan, Blackhawk Network
Blackhawk Network has appointed Sachin Dhawan as senior vice president, chief technology officer. Dhawan will report to Jerry Ulrich, Blackhawk’s chief financial officer and chief administrative officer, and will have overall responsibility for the company’s technology road map and execution, including development, infrastructure, security, network expansion and desktop services. Dhawan has 18 years of experience in omnichannel digital payments and online advertising platforms. Most recently, he was vice president of engineering for global consumer products at PayPal, where he led development of the company’s digital wallet and global omnichannel shopping products. Prior to that, he held several leadership positions during his 12-year tenure at Microsoft, including leading the development of its online advertising platform.
