People on the Move: Talbott Roche, Electronic Arts Board
Blackhawk Network President and CEO Talbott Roche has been appointed to the board of directors of digital interactive entertainment provider Electronic Arts (EA). Roche also has been appointed to EA’s compensation committee. Roche co-founded Blackhawk in 2001, and has served as the company’s president since late 2010, before being adding the role of CEO earlier this year. A widely known payments industry veteran with numerous accolades to her name, Roche was instrumental in Blackhawk’s successful 2013 spinoff from Safeway Inc. and IPO, which raised $230 million, increasing the market value of the company to $1.2 billion. She also has served as a member of the board of directors of the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association.
