People on the Move: Hugh McFadden and John Leto, The Bancorp
The Bancorp has named Hugh McFadden chief operating officer of the company and the bank, pending regulatory approval. Meanwhile, John Leto has been appointed to the new role of Chief Administrative Officer of the Company and the Bank. Both will report to Damian Kozlowski, CEO and president, The Bancorp.
McFadden, who joined the company in June 2016, will oversee areas including loan and retail operations, IT, and all credit, compliance and risk management functions. Before coming to The Bancorp, he served as a consultant for Promontory Financial Group on regulatory compliance issues. Past roles include chief operating officer and chief risk officer of Modern Bank N.A., where he played a leading role in regulatory remediation efforts and the development of a compliance risk management program.
Leto, who joined the company in July 2016, will oversee operations services, marketing, and public and investor relations, for The Bancorp. Previously, Leto served as senior vice president and head of national sales of wealth management at TD Bank, where he managed the bank’s sales expansion strategy throughout the U.S. Before joining TD, Leto held executive leadership roles with Standard Chartered Americas Private Bank and StanChart Securities International. He has also held several senior management roles at Citigroup.
