People on the Move: Alex Sion, JPMorgan Chase
Alex Sion, co-founder of mobile bank Moven, will join JPMorgan Chase as executive director of mobile banking, effective Oct. 3. In his position with Chase, Sion will oversee the bank’s mobile strategy, including its digital banking and payments app, which has 25 million active users, according to Chase. Before helping found Moven, Sion earned executive experience in the traditional banking sector, serving as senior vice president of wealth management at Citigroup. In his new position with Chase will report to Jason Alexander, the bank’s executive director of digital platforms.
