People on the Move: Brian Randolph; Jason Holderness; Jacob Bennett, National Merchants Association
The National Merchants Association (NMA) has filled three key leadership roles, appointing Brian Randolph as chief operating officer, Jason Holderness as chief technology officer and Jacob Bennett chief risk officer.
As COO of NMA, Randolph will be tasked with guiding strategic execution and managing the day-to-day activities of the merchant advocacy group and services provider. Since joining NMA as chief technology officer in 2009, Randolph has helped develop the company’s proprietary merchant account optimization software and its Chargeback Control Platform, which launched in October 2016.
With Randolph’s appointment to the COO postition, his previous role as chief technology officer (CTO) will be filled by Holderness, who joined NMA in 2016 as director of software development. As CTO, Holderness will be responsible for all application development and technological innovation for NMA. He has more than 15 years of experience working in IT roles with major companies and tech startups.
Bennett, who joined NMA in 2014, previously served in the role of vice president of risk and underwriting. In his new role as chief risk officer, Bennett will lead the company’s risk and underwriting departments, which make credit decisions on high-risk and high-volume accounts, as well as developing and maintatining internal risk mitigation policies. Bennet has more than 10 years of payments industry experience.
