Company on the Move: BBVA, Joining Hyperledger
Spain-based financial services group BBVA has officially joined Hyperledger, a global coalition working to advance blockchain technologies in various corporate sectors. Led by the nonprofit Linux Foundation, Hyperledger includes major banking and financial services providers including American Express, The Bank of England and Wells Fargo, among others. BBVA already is a member of blockchain partnerships R3 and the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.
As a member of Hyperledger, BBVA will be able to share code, knowledge and experiences with other member organizations and access Hyperledger projects and engineering support. BBVA will have two representatives in Hyperledger.
