People on the Move: Anwar Tameez, The Bancorp
Anwar Tameez has joined The Bancorp as managing director, head of operations. In the role, Tameez will be responsible for retail operations, loan operations, and customer care and complaints. He will report to Bancorp Chief Operating Officer Hugh McFadden.
With 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles, Tameez has managed large technology organizations, business operations, compliance and trading floors. He most recently served as a head of operations of the AIG US Shared Services organization, a New York-based multinational insurance company. Previously, Tameez was the head of operations for Morgan Stanley Cash Management, based in Europe. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he managed business operations and controls for Citigroup Global Wealth Management and held global leadership roles with Citi Technology Infrastructure.
