People on the Move: Agnes Woolrich, Pay by Bank
VocaLink mobile payments app arm Pay by Bank has appointed Agnes Woolrich as marketing director. Woolrich comes to the position from American Express, where she spent 11 years in senior marketing roles, most recently as vice president of marketing and bank partnerships, responsible for establishing new businesses and driving growth in Africa and the Middle East. Prior to that, she was responsible for growing the value of Amex’s relationships with its largest global merchants.
Pay by Bank, which debuted in mid-2016, recently has added several new financial institution partners, including HSBC, Barclays, Bank of Scotland, Halifax and Lloyds Bank.
