People on the Move: Shazia Manus, CO-OP Financial, Confidence Award
CO-OP Financial Services Chief Product and Strategy Officer Shazia Manus was named the winner of the Confidence Award during Inspiring Women of Iowa, an annual event sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa. The Confidence Award “recognizes women with positive states of mind that guide their actions.”
Manus is the former CEO of payments processor The Members Group (TMG), which was acquired by CO-OP in early April. She is a long-time advocate for more women in executive roles, especially in the credit union and payments industries. Manus serves on the World Council of Credit Unions’ Global Women’s Leadership Network, and in 2016 was named one of the Most Influential Women in Payments by PaymentsSource magazine
